I thought I was going to drive the alfa to work today, until I hit a dip in the road that was at least half a foot deep doing 40 mph. Tore the sway bar mounts apart, dented the lower valance all to shit and the edges of the rocker panels.
I know I have a low car and all that but there is no reason for a road to be so messed up to the point where you can’t even safely do the speed limit. Hopefully the county will play nice and pay for damage because I am not fixing this myself.

gets pics and measurements of the gaping hole now before they fix it and claim “it was already fixed” might be a good idea!

Take pictures with a ruler so they have a scale. It means a whole lot more when you can see data.

I almost ate it on my bike on the way home the other day. Massive pot hole I manage to avoid. I’m sure it would have taken me out and totalled my bike Easily 18" across and almost 9 inches deep.

Damn. That’s terrible, take pix and claim the hell out of it.

Wow, that looks pretty bad. Definitely don’t waste any time getting the claim process started and document as well as possible.
A coworker recently lost a tire to a huge pothole but the claim was denied because the road was repaired within a certain amount of time. I hope you have much better luck!!

That's a good bit of rust. Maybe that is what caused the problem? I can't really figure out what I'm looking at in the picture.
